These Terms and Conditions apply in the event of a commission, as of the payment of the deposit. 

If a commission is made to Kristin Becks (KB) then the following conditions apply;

A 40% of the agreed amount of the commission is due to KB upon confirmation of the commission, and these terms and conditions will then apply. The deposit is non-refundable.

The client will make high-resolution images (usually professionally taken) available for the duration required to complete the commission to KB standards, as required by KB. If the Client fails to supply appropriate and approved reference photos, the deposit is forfeited. The point of completion of the work will be decided by KB after consultation with the client. Costs will be charged in the case of alterations. 

The copyright of the commission will remain with KB. This is the norm in the case of commissioned artwork. KB will nonetheless request consent to display any image that is a commissioned work. KB appreciates that privacy may be important to clients. 

The commission price stated does not include the additional expenses of completing the commission, such as studio space if the commission is being undertaken away from KB studio, travel costs, accommodation if necessary, couriers for the work, or a frame.

These terms and conditions apply to purchased work.

The copyright remains the property of KB at all times, under the law.

Work is non-refundable after purchase.

Kristin Becks Price Guide

Prices are decided by the size of the paper/canvas and the content of the composition. A drawing or painting with a busy composition may require more work, thus raising the price so these prices are for straightforward drawings and paintings.

This is a rough fee guide for a single portrait. Frame, travel & accommodation expenses are not included. For non-standard sizes please ask for a quote.
